Was it OK - I am only looking for something fairly basic - sandwiches etc. Were there any non-meat options? achiet le grand is about 10-15 minutes to the somme(Thiepval) so if you are already on the Somme for lunch the Tommy bar(poziere) or Avril williams(auchonvillers) are the best places to go if you pass through Achiet le grand for lunch except on tuesday, he probably can organise sandwiches or quick meals but you will have to book it.
