Hey gang

May have deciphered these wrong but here goes ...

The 1st chap im looking at was an airman who was invalided out of the RAF with Neuroasthma.

The 2nd one was shipped home due to "Paralyphoid A"

What are they please?

And where is the "Ulnar"? Lower arm?

Many thanks!!!!

Hi Steve,

First may be Neurasthenia= Shell Shock.

That's the extent of my medical knowledge.

Hope it helps,

Neil

Paratyphoid is more commonly known as enteric fever (note spelling).

Ulna is a bone in the lower arm, the radius being the other.

Steve,

Could the second one be Paratyphoid A?

The ulnar is the bone extending from the elbow to the wrist on the side opposite to the thumb in humans.

Hope this helps Ali

Derek & Ali - great help yes. Thank you very much

The second one is indeed "Paratyphoid A" - is there a difference because of the "A"?
