Michael Lowrey Posted 21 January , 2006 Share Posted 21 January , 2006 Terry, Amy was a 270 grt trawler taken into naval service during the war. She was indeed sunk on April 11, 1917; she struck a mine near Le Havre (it's possible that she was involved in minesweeping when lost). The mine was laid by the german submarine UC 26.
