mmm45 Posted 21 January , 2006 Share Posted 21 January , 2006 Hi Im researching a soldier 1954/250744 Pte G Blamires who was KIA 7/11/18 whilst serving with 15 DLI. Im particuarly interested in the battle of the Sambre and the action of the bayonet charge to secure Limont Fontaine in which my man and others including Capt A Lascelles VC were killed. Can anyone let me know if it was a unit action or which Companies were involved.Im trying to find out which Coy he was serving in. Thanks for any help.
