HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 18 January , 2006 Share Posted 18 January , 2006 From what you have posted it would appear that having deserted & re~joined under an alias,which has obviously been detected as the notes confirm his change of name,his Medals were restored to him,having been forefeit,due to his Desertion;the codes refer to the actual Medal Roll pages,held @ the NA,which may help with further details concerning their issue,these are not available online. he was also granted a War Badge[sWB List] on application having been discharged,this would be well worth getting the copy page of as further information & dates are given[Number/Name/Unit discharged from/date of enlistment/Date & Cause of Discharge{KRs392 etc[sometimes written cause};Age,etc;] The other code probably cross references the 2 Cards.
