dorrie Posted 15 January , 2006 Share Posted 15 January , 2006 I am resesrching the above named soldier who was a Liutenant in the 4th battalion Royal fusiliers at the tiem of his death. I believe he enlisted in the Bedfords and then transferred . can anybody confirm this ? He died from injuries received on 25th July 1917 and is buried at grevillers British Cemetery. I think they were just going into the forntline near Ypres at the time. Let's see what tomorrow brings. bmac Posted 17 January , 2006 Share Posted 17 January , 2006 The Royal Fusiliers in the Great War does not record anything for the 4/RF between the actions at Monchy in early May and actions near Lagnicourt from August 8th onwards.
