MParnham Posted 12 January , 2006 Share Posted 12 January , 2006 Like so many others I am trying to trace my grandfathers brother who was (so the family story goes) killed at / in or around Passendale. I have the barest scraps of information. The war graves commission produced the following possibilities but without any next of next of kin details or home town details I can move no further forward. If some kind person could do a SDGW lookup on them I would be very grateful – P. Taylor Pte - Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment) 1st/5th Bn. Service number 204164 D.O.D 07/08/1917 P. Taylor Pte - Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment) 1st/4th Bn. Service number 201732 D.O.D 20/11/1917 Many thanks Martin
