Mark Crame Posted 11 January , 2006 Share Posted 11 January , 2006 Hi, just to let those who helped previously know I have positively identified one name on the memorial, which has cleared up the question on the three added later. Charles Grimmer: Died aged 30 at the Star and Garter Home, Richmond, Surrey, on 16th December 1926. (Brother of Henry Septimus Grimmer who is also on there). This pretty much confirms my suspicion that he, Edward Jennis and Cecil Pitcher died of war-related injuries later on. So, now I have to try and find the details of that, and continue chasing down the other uncertainties -still, one done! That just leaves, for named dead, On eman: Geoffrey / Geoffry Buxton. And I'm buggered if I can find him!
