Murrough Posted 11 January , 2006 Author Share Posted 11 January , 2006 Thank you Dave it was the information I needed, but I also need to know where the sick and wounded were treated as I have a 1914-15 star belonging to a member of this battalion who is listed as having died in Egypt 10-10-1915.I would be grateful for any information or advice. Regards, Damien.
MartinWills Posted 12 January , 2006 Share Posted 12 January , 2006 Gallipoli Sick & wounded who were evacuated would have gone to Mudros and hence to Alexandria or Malta or even back to Blighty if they were not treated fully on the peninsula.
