Bob Bedward Posted 10 January , 2006 Share Posted 10 January , 2006 Hi - Newton Hall Voluntary Aid Hospital (Newton Abbot Devon) Whilst searching the local newspaper (Mid Devon Advertiser) for ‘my’ men. I found a series of reports on the wounded men arriving at the Newton Hall VAD Hospital. I was surprised to find that the lists include Reg Numbers and Unit Titles .The following is a sample from just one list. My question is would members of this forum find it usefull were I to transcribe the names and place on this site? Oct. 2nd 1915. (32 names) The following is the list of wounded who arrived on Thursday. 8326 Cpl. Arnold J. 1st R. Muns. Fus. 10638 Pte Arbaham C 8th Ches. Regt. 10715 Pte. Bland T 4th Worc. Regt. 10230 Pte. Cull G 4th Worc. Regt. Best wishes Old Jack
GrandsonMichael Posted 10 January , 2006 Share Posted 10 January , 2006 Hi Old Jack, This spin-off from your research looks as though it could be very interesting information for others as well. By all means, please transcribe the information and share it with us. Someone might just find a relative or a person of interest amongst your list. Thanks, Michael

Christina Posted 11 January , 2006 Share Posted 11 January , 2006 Please do list them, any lists are always helpful, especially to those like myself trying to confirm a relative's regiment and wounds. It may just be the info that someone is desperately seeking. Regards Christina
