Missing MIC?

Hi, can anyone advise? I have attempted to find the MIC for William Thomas Worsley, a Great War casualty, he is uniquely named on the CWGC and SDGW but I can't find his MIC listed on the NA website. Am I doing something wrong? It's the first time I've ever NOT found an MIC, is this unusual?

HELP!!

Glyn

Hi Glyn,

This doesn't answer your query but did come across an MIC at The National Archives for 745293 Gunner William J WORSLEY, RFA. Probably not your man - last digit of number '3' instead of the '0' for your CWGC casualty and wrong middle initial (although both possible typos). Perhaps a relation?

745293 Gunner William J WORSLEY, RFA

Hello

I have found (cards in general) them on the fiche at the NA but not on the MIC on line .. and vice versa

You need to check both

But

Medal card of Worsley, William J

Corps Regiment No Rank

Royal Field Artillery 596 Gunner

Royal Field Artillery 745293 Gunner

Date 1914-1920

Catalogue reference WO 372/22

Has the same number as W T Worsley on the Soldiers died CD ROM - wrong letters is very common
