mmm45 Posted 2 January , 2006 Share Posted 2 January , 2006 Hi If a Guardsman transferred to the RE as a Tunneler in ww1 are his records likely to be in the Guards Archive or would they have been transferred with him and were possibly burned in the Blitz? Owen D Posted 2 January , 2006 Share Posted 2 January , 2006 Records passed on to new unit. My Nan's cousin was transferred out of the Grenadiers after a really bad time at Wipers '17.
