Hi -

Help please - I have downloaded my Grandfathers medal card. I can understand the medal information it (Thanks to my education on this forum) but I wonder if anyone can give me any information from the information on his two units ie what battalion? When did he join? what Labour Corp Company when did he join?

His two numbers are R Fus pte 11266

Lab Corps pte 15399

His date of entry to France was 5/5/15

He was reputed to have spent time in a Convalescent Hospital in Eastbourne. He survived the war but was always a sick man until his death in 1934.
