Oh well, my previous offer didn't come up with any takers...so, I've narrowed it down a bit.

So, I will be visiting the following cemeteries, and will take photos /details of 5 grave-stones in each cemy.

Vlamertinghe, Ieper, West-Vlandern, Belgium

Grove Town, Meaulte, south of Albert

Fifteen Ravine, Villers-Plouich

Also, let me know if you want pic in digital form, or plain old film-paper.

Once each cemy has reached it's quota of requests, I'll post a note to close it off.

Slainte, Alan

Alan,

Very kind offer. Allow me to bite your hand off!

I would be grateful for a photo (digital would be great) at Vlamertinghe, of:

Gunner John Ragan, 50826, Royal Garrison Artillery, 28 May 1917. Plot VII C 1.

Thanks very much,

Andrew

Grove Town

II. C. 30. Job Hesson.

I've been there a couple of times but the photograph is never better than poor/average. Maybe you would have a go, digital is great.

Vlamertinghe if it's Military rather than New Miilitary Cemetery

II. C. 18. Walter Baggott

III. B. 20. John Lappage

All men of Tipton

Thanks

Andy

Alan,

If it's Vlamertinghe Military Cem can you do a digital pic of the headstone of Christopher Inglis, Northumberland Fusiliers, grave 2 C 8.

However, if it's Vlamertinghe New Military Cemetery can you do digital pics of the headstones of:

George Scott, RFA, grave 1 A 31

Joseph T Lawson, King's Liverpool Regt , grave 3 B 13

And in Grove Town Cemetery:

Folks..........just back home on Saturday there, and got all your requests except those for Vlamertinge New Military Cemy. It was getting dark by the time I arrived in the village....... :(

Hopefully I get all the images sorted out over the next couple days, and you should start to find things arriving in your mailbox soon....

All the best for now.

Folks.....I think I've mentioned to everyone I have contacted already, that I have good film-prints

of all the graves for Grove Town and Heilly Station.

No obligation, but if you send me an SAE, you can have a print of your requested grave(s) for

free. I've sent out 2 from 11 available so far.......

Address is: 8 Macredie Pl., Irvine, Ayrshire KA11 2BF.

All the best for now.
