Do you have the theatre of operation?

Does it not give an indication on the medal card of which battalion?

I can possibly tell you which battalion it was if you can let me know where he served.

Arm

Arm,

The Theatre was 2(b ) Balkans (though not very clear, possibly 2(a)). Probably the 5th Battalion, 10th (Irish) Division - Gallipoli, then Salonika, then Palestine.

I suspect he was not in Gallipoli very long if at all, perhaps entering the theatre at Lemnos/Mudros and joining the battalion en route as it sailed to Salonika.

Steve.
