TURNBULL, Hugh Vincent Corbett.

Captain, The Kings Own Scottish Borderers, only son of the late Charles Corbett Turnbull, of Murvagh, Cheltenham, and Upper Colletts, Cleeve Hill, Co. Gloucester. Born 20th July 1877; gazetted 2nd Lieut. The Kings Own Scottish Borderers, from the Militia, 4th May 1898; promoted Lieutenant 4th May 1900 and Captain 7th June 1908; was Adjutant The Kings Own Scottish Borderers from 22nd January 1911 to 7th August 1912, and was employed with the Egyptian Army from 8th August 1912; Served in the European War, and was killed in action on 13th November 1914.
