Jock Bruce Posted 23 August , 2003 Share Posted 23 August , 2003 I've come across a reference to an infantry platoon having to mount 'visiting patrols' and 'listening patrols' - I know what the latter is but has anybody a good definition of a 'visiting patrol'.
