Hi

I know this is going to be difficult with practicaly nothing to go on but I am trying to trace Henry Allison.

All we know about him is he probably married in 1907 and had a daughter Alice Edith Allison in 1909.

From her marriage certificate in 1938 she states her father to be Henry Allison (Deceased) Soldier.

Her birth certificate places the family at Dale Street Chiswick in 1909.

I have no idea if he died in WW1 or regiment or any other details and a check on GWGC didnt list a Henry from that area.

Can you suggest anything?

Regards Linda

Don't rule out the ones where no N.O.K is listed. I've found chaps from all over belonging to the most unlikely sounding regiments.. (eg men of Kent in the Royal Irish Rifles etc)

Hi

Thank you Ludovica and Brian for your replies.

Brian, I have a hunch that the second Henry may be the one I am looking.

Thank you so much for the information.

Regards Linda
