Remembered Today:

Soldier Died Please.

I would be grateful for the Soldiers Died information that I don’t have for this man.

John Edward Charlesworth was a Private (7199), 1st 9th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. He died on Sunday 7th January 1917. Originally in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps, he died in France. Probably died of wounds.

Thank you,

Tony.

Thank you, Horwich is correct, it is in Lancashire. This man moved from Holmfirth to Horwich take over a grocery business in 1912. Thanks again.

Tony.
