John_Hartley Posted 17 December , 2005 Share Posted 17 December , 2005 Pals My man is 2nd Lt Bertram Wolfe - Loyal North Lancs but attached to 10th LFs in May/ June 1918. I'm after any reference to him in the official documentation, but my main enquiry relates to a gas attack in late May/early June (possibly 2 June) (local press says at Beaumont Hamel) in which he is badly affected. He died from the effects on 29/10/18. Details I have on him are from his service file at Kew. Thanks John
Mark Hone Posted 18 December , 2005 Share Posted 18 December , 2005 John-Normally I would have a Regimental History copy to you like a flash, but unfortunately we have broken up for our Christmas Hols (skiving teachers...) and I can't access 'my' copy in the school library. I might be able to grab a dekko at another coopy somewhere else, but if there's no joy there after January 3rd will be no problem, if it can wait that long. John_Hartley Posted 18 December , 2005 Author Share Posted 18 December , 2005 Mark Unless someone else pops up with the info in the interim, then I am happy to wait until you're back, of course. Have a good break John
