The 4th Middlesex advanced on the village of Biefvillers supporting the 8th Lincs on the left and 8th Somersets on the right . 5am on the 25th attack begins on the high ground on the Bapaume - Arras road south of the monument , 4th Middlesex on the right , 8th Lincs on the left , Somersets in support . The objective was captured at 6.30am . The evening of the 25th the 4th Middlesex were relieved by a battalion of the 5th division and moved back to Achiet - le - Petit . Casualties during these operations were 1 officer and 25 other ranks killed , 9 officers and 213 other ranks wounded , and 25 other ranks missing . Hope this is of use . Regards , Steve .
