Casualty Clearing Stations 1915

Hello,

I'm researching a soldier who was wounded near Ypres and invalided home to the UK in March/April 1915. His service records give the following details:

Relieved from trenches and returned to Kemmel

One night in Locre

Sent to Bailleul

One week in hospital at Le Treport

Embarked for home......

So if anyone knows any information on these places i'd love to hear from you - photos, statistics, info very gratefully received.

Hi Mark

Bailleul.

No 2 CCS Aug 1914 to 2 Sept 1917.

No 8 CCS Jan 1915 to 4 Mar 1917.

Le Treport.

No 3 General Hospital 26 Nov 1914 to 17 Mar 1919.

No 16 General = = Jan 1915 to Feb 1919.

And here is a letter from the chaplain written from Bailleul in May 1915.

I don't know where Base hospital is.
