Hi All,

I have 3 medal cards needing interpretation. To keep things simple I'm going to start 3 posts - one for each. They were 3 brothers from Northern Ireland.

Here is the first:

Hope someone is able to help with all the code!

Thanks,

William

Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion Royal Lancaster Regiment TF (Territorial Force)

Went overseas on 3rd May 1915 and posted missing on 15-16 June 1915.

Entitled to 1915 Star, Victory Medal and British War Medal.

The x's denote the details to be put on medals.

The codes under Roll and Page denote the Medal Rolls references. Medal rolls are held at the National Archives. They MAY add more detail.

The other references (with the /s) refer to correspondence which probably no longer exists. The 1922 date is probably related to this too.

Steve.
