Guest Helen South Posted 8 December , 2005 Share Posted 8 December , 2005 Hi Ladies and Gents, Someone on another forum mentioned a member here who had "loads" of School honor rolls and may be able to help with my search to find out a little more about a Great War officer. I won't post the name, as I searched it on the membership with no luck, so perhaps the person is using a screen name. I'm researching Capt D. Cutbush, M.C. , of the Middlesex Regt, KIA Arras 1917. He's mentioned in the Holyrood School Memorial in St Wilfrid's Church, but I haven't been able to find out anything further about this school so far. http://www.wilfrid.com/people/holyrood_sch.htm If you know anything of the Holyrood school it refers to, or could suggest any further avenues of inquiry, I'd appreciate it. I'm doing well so far with Gazette records etc. I'm hoping one day to track down a photograph. I guess I could contact the church, they might be able to tell me more about Holyrood and whether it and its records still exist. many thanks Helen
