Harry Leonard from Bermondsey, enlisted on in 12th Bn on 22.6.15 aged 15 years 9 months. 3.1.16 he was posted to 14th Bn. 1.3.16 he was discharged under age. 17.11.16, aged 17 yrs 1 month, enlisted as Private no. 21011 at Deal into RMLI. Served from 30.11.17 (once 18 yrs) on HMS Champion until invalided on 7.1.20.

Can anyone help on the following questions or with information: He was entitled to VM and BWM, but as I do not have them, are the medals likely to have been inscribed to East Surreys or RMLI and which medal roll is he likely to be recorded on ? Also, how can I track his army number in the East Surrey's ?

Finally, bearing in mind his under age discharge date, what would be likely circumstances have been - parental intervention ?
