John Milner Posted 2 December , 2005 Share Posted 2 December , 2005 According to the MIC and Medal Rolls 8608 Thomas Edward Hiden arrived in France on 24/11/14 and joined the 2nd Worcesters, 5th Brigade, 2nd Division. Then he joined the the 4th Worcesters, 88th Brigade, 29th Division (Gallipoli and Western Front.) He was then transferred to the 1st Garrison Battalion Somerset LI, Regimental No 32526 - Arrived India Feb 1917. He was then transferred to the 2nd Garrison Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, Regimental No 56458 - Arrived India Feb 1916. Can anyone help with explaining these movements? Are there any clues in his Regimental Nos that may indicate a date of transfer. Regards John Milner
