I have downloaded medal card, its just great finding snippets about his life as we all know nothing but the day he died and his regiment.

Dear Ian,

Thanks for your help I have just found out who my Great great Grandad and Grandma are and all the other household members.

Never thought to do it this way before ...very moving to finally realise your history.
