Identifying this book.

Hi,

I wonder if a member could let me know the origin of this book, ie European or American.

My wifes grandfather fought with the Royal Munster Fusiliers, both in the Boer war and in WW1.

Sometime in the twenties he was given this book and i am trying to find out if it was published in Europe or America.

It is full of remarkable photographs from their correspondents who it appears were in all the countries affected by WW1.

The name of the book is " Leslie's Photographic Review of the Great War" 1920 Edition, Leslie - Judge Company

Any information please.

Regards,

Sean.

Sean,

I imagine the book is fairly common in the USA. A moment ago, AbeBooks listed 25 copies ranging in price from £9 to £86, depending on condition and the chutzpah of the bookseller.

Thanks again Clive,

I was not sure if there was any value on the book, but the content of the photographs are so intense and varied that i will try and keep the book together for another few years.

Regards,

Sean.
