AOK4 Posted 18 August , 2003 Share Posted 18 August , 2003 Hello, I'm looking for information about a certain A. C. Dixon. He was an officer with the Tank Corps certainly at the end of the war. He is supposed to have been 2/Lt at the beginning of the war, and a Captain towards 1919. He is thought to have been awarded MC, 1914 or 1914-15 Star, BWM and Victory Medal with Palm. Michael Posted 18 August , 2003 Share Posted 18 August , 2003 Jan The only AC Dixons records are as follows WO 339/28041 DIXON A C, 2/Lieut WO 374/19850 DIXON, Major A C H L There are however a lot of Dixon A's I'll probably be going to the PRO on Thursday and will check them out for you. Terry_Reeves Posted 18 August , 2003 Share Posted 18 August , 2003 The November 1918 Army List, shows a Temporary Lt AC Dixon of the Tank Corps with a seniority date of 26 July 1918.
