Guest DianeHatwell Posted 27 November , 2005 Share Posted 27 November , 2005 It may be just me, but when I go looking in the register of seaman's services in the national archives documents online, I put in my grandfather's name, and all i get is army records, never anyone in the navy. According to Arthur Rouse (or Guy as he sometimes was) he was on the Monarch at the battle of Jutland, able seaman, seaman gunner. That was his story. But not a single sailor do I find! Anyone else had more luck? Diane
