What can you find out from MICs?

I'd love to know exactly what information you can find out from MICs, is there anything more than just the battalions, the regiment and the Theatre of War.

Most importantly;the Reference Code to the Actual Medal Roll Page,also [usually] Christian Name{s} & wether Discharged,[in which case the Reference to the War Badge{SWB};if Claimed will appear;or demobilised,posted to the Reserve{Class"Z" etc;occasionally if Deserter,POW,Etc;but obviously as they are contemporary documents,a lot of the detail depends on the Clerk,who compiled the Card.{I recommend looking @ the MiC explanations on the Long Long Trail @ the head of this Forum}
