I have a medal card with clasp 1434 etc in the remarks box, what does this mean?

Presuming it to be a 1914 Star Card it is confirmation of issue of an August 5th November 22nd 1914 Clasp{Bar} to the Star.The 1434 I expect refers to the Medal roll page number of the star{or possibly the date of issue:1/4/1934}
