Chris_Baker Posted 14 November , 2005 Share Posted 14 November , 2005 Commissioned in June 1917, 2/Lt Kenneth M A Cornford later joined 10th Training Squadron. He flew Bristol Scouts, Sopwith Scouts and DH5s. According to his family he had a flying accident but this does not appear on his service record - although he did undergo a medical downgrading in April 1918 which might fit. Can any air buff tell me more about the unit, location - and any detail of Cornford or his accident?
Dolphin Posted 23 November , 2005 Share Posted 23 November , 2005 Chris This won't help much, but perhaps it's better than nothing. No 10 Training Squadron was part of No 8 (Training) Group and based at Gosport in the RAF's South Western Area. Regards Gareth
