Jerrymurland Posted 14 November , 2005 Share Posted 14 November , 2005 Here's one for all you who like a good mystery. Private Lynton Goode - a great uncle of mine - was Kia In Gallipoli. On his papers I received from Australia there is a handwritten note of who his next of kin were and their addresses. Apart from mother there is a: Miss Hamilton, Villa Jasmine, Glymenopaulo (spelling?) Alexandria. Checking through the Troopship embarkation lists from Brisbane to Alexandria I found a Hamilton on the same ship as Lynton, they joined up together on the same day in Brisbane. so were the two Hamiltons related and did Lynton form a romantic liaison with her while in Egypt? Was Miss Hamilton a nurse and what does the address tell us? I have reached a dead end. Any ideas anyone?
