I started to make a list (by no means complete) of Canadian and American members of the forum and thought it might be useful to post it in case there are any specific questions that could be directed to us.

I apologize in advance for anybody I have forgotten or don't know about (no doubt I will smack my forehead!); please correct/add your name or that of somebody you know.

Perhaps our Anzac mates could do the same. And how about our German and French experts?

Canada: 182CEF, Broznitsky, David Bluestein, Jhill, Laughton, Mordac, Terry

America: Egbert (German), Paul Guthrie, Neil Burns, Ralph Whitehead (German).

Kate, Cynthia, Roberta, Christine: Of course you all count, some of the most intelligent/thoughtful postings are by you Pals!

I said I would smack my forehead, so I am  , but this thread was to start the ball rolling.

Thanks for the additions. :)

Hi, just a small correction I am not an ANZAC (not yet anyway).

A born and bred pom (and proud of it).

Best wishes from the airport lounge in Dubai.

John.

Sorry Raster,

I thought that you had mentioned in the past that you had a connection with Castleford,West Yorkshire,ie "Cas" or "Cass".I assumed that you were from there.

Sorry to have branded you as a Yorkshireman.Mind you it is easier now to cross the border since the Passport Controls were relaxed at Bawtry.

Regards

Frank East

I wanted to update this by adding:

Central Ontario, NSHighlander, Rob Bulloch, Bydand, Bill Alexander, WJBates.

I'm sure I've forgotten somebody again.
