Graham-McAdam Posted 12 November , 2005 Share Posted 12 November , 2005 Fascinating postcard, before all the town behind (apart from the cathedral tower) was destroyed, up to 1918 - so during the German occupation from 1915-18. Perhaps somebody else will have a closer date.
Malte Znaniecki Posted 12 November , 2005 Share Posted 12 November , 2005 Hello, Cambrai was captured on 9th of October 1918, so I guess the photo was taken between this date and December 1918. The trees around do not wear any leaves. I suppose, the pic could be taken more end of October until end of November 1918. best regards, Malte
