LizM Posted 11 November , 2005 Share Posted 11 November , 2005 Went to the service at St. Martins Catherdral in Ypres this afternoon and it was a very wonderful and memorable experience. It was a wonderful way to remember the men and women who have died for us. The whole programme was so well done and really made you think. A big well done to everyone to involved. strongbow Posted 12 November , 2005 Share Posted 12 November , 2005 Couldn't agree more. Fantastic. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up when the pipers played Highland Cathedral. The letters from the soldiers to their loved ones at home in the programme really showed all sides and attitudes of the war. My sincere thanks to all those who organised and performed.
