TD60 Posted 8 November , 2005 Share Posted 8 November , 2005 This is the grave orf an italian soldier but with a "british" headstone". Is there any special reasons he was burried with british soldiers ? Were there some italians soldiers attached to british armies or some regiments affected to british army corps ? I wonder also why this is this kind of headstone. When french soldiers are among british ones they have usually a cross not a british headstone. Why it is done differently here ? Because this is a memorial and not really a grave ? Thanks for your comments.
