Shell shocjk victim

This lad died of shell shock on 29-4-18 at Barton upon Humber and was buried with full military honours. However he is unlisted on soldiers died, medal imdexes, or on CWGC. He is buried in Barton new Cemy. where I assume he is under a civilian gravestone. Was he discharged? How many discharged soldiers are simliarly neglected.

I suspect he may have been Lincolns or E Yorks....but have so far not drawn an ace. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I shall be looking for his burial place this weekend to as he is the one missing link from Barton upon Humber whio I have no information about.

Could be Steve very possibly an oversight-is this a Kitchener number? Are you going to the Lincs Pals thing next week

Sean

There are a fair number of North Lincs lads with numbers in the 50000's who are transferred to the North Staffs and given 60000 numbers. I have looked at several, inparticular the Tyson brothers from burnham, who are on Broughton memorial, and all the ones i have checked were in the 4th North Staffs. To the best of my limited knowledge i would suggest that a 50000 Lincs Regt number is more likely a conscript.
