Grey Squirrel Posted 3 November , 2005 Share Posted 3 November , 2005 Another quick question... I have a Sapper in the Royal Engineers who was based in Rochester/Chatham in 1916, at which date he would have been about 46 years of age. He does not appear to be on the MICs on Documents Online. He survived WW1 and died in the early 1940s. Can I infer from his apparent absence from the MICs that he definitely did not see any service abroad? Thanks! Myrtle Posted 4 November , 2005 Share Posted 4 November , 2005 It depends on if his name was spelt incorrectly in the mics.
