Many of you will have visited the RE Grave memorial to 177 Tunnelling Company at Railway Wood and read the name Second Lieutenant C G Boothby on the memorial. His letters have been published, edited by the son of the woman who would probably have married him had he lived.

Regards

Simon

Thanks for the heads up Simon. This looks an interesting read and I am sure it will be added to my Christmas wish list.

I always find the RE Grave memorial to 177 Tunnelling Company at Railway Wood so moving and would be glad to read more about the men who fought and died there.

Thanks again

Thanks Simon, as a son of a Sapper I will enjoy this having got a taster for RE activities on the Western Front from John Glubbs diary as a Sapper Troop commander.
