Missed Paul as Tommies was shut at night due to extension being built to hold a total of 300!! Hope it does not lose its identity. Weather was great and Bernafay Wood as good as ever to stay in. Went to Beaucourt Station where owner is trying to build a new cafe business, was very busy and a nice guy Phillipe very enthusiastic and trying to dig out a German trench by his car park- give him a visit well worth it! Much ploughing going on but re-seeding straight away and no deep stuff. Anyway had a wonderful time and spoke to several french farmers and hunters who were very pleasant and helpful!
