12cmgc Posted 1 November , 2005 Share Posted 1 November , 2005 I recently obtained the print pictured here which was a fund raiser for the Canadian War Memorial Fund. In 1919,the original art work toured Burlington House, New York, and Toronto before finally ending up in the Canadian War Museum today. In 1919, apparently viewers could buy prints in proofs of 100 (?). Given the size of the print I have I am wondering who would buy 100? at what price back then? Or where they sold separately. I am presuming they sold more then a few.... Any answers appreciated as information on web does not provide this detail..... Thanks!
