chrismac Posted 30 October , 2005 Share Posted 30 October , 2005 Can anyone help here ? I have on my village (Lt Walsingham, Norfolk) the name of a Samuel Sharp but cannot find him on the CWGC site. There is a record of him here on the local Norfolk library records - Sapper Samuel Sharp, 242nd Artisan Works Company, Royal Engineers Sapper Sharp was born in 1880. He enlisted on 15th May 1916, and died on 5th May 1917. He is buried at New [Little] Walsingham churchyard but there is no headstone in the churchyard either help ! Hambo Posted 1 November , 2005 Share Posted 1 November , 2005 Hi Chris This Sam Sharp was born and enlisted in Braford and was killed in action in France/Flanders doesn't sound like your man. Had a look for Sharpe and only one Samuel KIA in 1918 Hambo
