stiletto_33853 Posted 29 October , 2005 Share Posted 29 October , 2005 Trying to tie up some loose ends again on some locals and was wondering if anyone had any information on 2nd Lt. Palmer. Lived in Southend and enlisted in August 1914. He was killed in action at Genck, Belgium, on 25th December 1915,aged 22, any further information would be great as that is all the local papers reported on him. stiletto_33853 Posted 30 October , 2005 Author Share Posted 30 October , 2005 HHHmmmmm, The local papers seem to have this wrong then, states Killed in action, not for the first time. Andy
Doug Lewis Posted 30 October , 2005 Share Posted 30 October , 2005 Andy I can't find him recorded in "The Sky Their battlefield" for 1915 which is why I checked CWGC site and if the date of 1918 is correct he wouldn't have been killed in action, so I'm unsure now.
