Chris_Baker Posted 23 October , 2005 Share Posted 23 October , 2005 Charles Ortiz has contacted me about a matter pertaining to some preservation groups in France. They are trying to fight their local government from building a waste dump where WW1 dead lie. The place is called Moulin sous Touvent and that proposal immediately came to the attention of two historical groups, PATRIMOINE DE LA GRANDE GUERRE and POILU DE LA MARNE. They are seeking petitions, voices and any support toward convincing the government administrators not to go through with the plan because it will lead to desecrating their burial site; and unearth countless dead. More details can be obtained from. PATRIMOINE de la GRANDE GUERRE http://www.patrimoinedelagrandeguerre.com President: Didier Guénaff (I know Didier well and he is a great chap. Didier has limited English).
