Grey Squirrel Posted 21 October , 2005 Share Posted 21 October , 2005 Has anyone read "1914-1918: Understanding the Great War" by Stephane Audoin-Rouzeau & Annette Becker? I've just seen it at http://www.psbooks.co.uk for £6.99 and am wondering whether it's worth getting. Thanks. Incidentally, if you don't know this remainder bookseller, they always have a small but interesting and changing range of WW1 books -- see http://www.psbooks.co.uk/War&Militaria_Fts.asp
Graham-McAdam Posted 21 October , 2005 Share Posted 21 October , 2005 Certainly worth it at the that price. The authors are directors of the Historial at Peronne, so it has unusual (to us) French viewpoints and also lots of gruesome data and statistics. I enjoyed it lots
Grey Squirrel Posted 24 October , 2005 Author Share Posted 24 October , 2005 Thank you, sir! I received Postcript Books' catalogue in the post today, so might see if there is anything else I want to get at the same time. Best wishes.
