bernardmcilwaine Posted 19 October , 2005 Share Posted 19 October , 2005 can anyone please come up with a answer to this puzzle pte harry maylett 16th manchester regt 7628 enlisted nov 1914 after his training he landed in france in nov 1915,he was badly wounded and taken prisoner at trones wood july 1916,in dec 1918 he was released and sent home for discharge due to his hardship as a POW,no problems there,but on his MIC it says he was also a pte in the ASC et/58913,HOW,he fought with the manchesters till he was wounded and taken POW,the rest of the war was spent as a POW till he was discharged,how could he have served in the ASC,????bernard Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
