Steven Broomfield Posted 8 October , 2005 Share Posted 8 October , 2005 Jenny, the HAC had a Siege Battery which went to France (equipped with 4 x 6" howitzers) in May '17, as part of 88th Heavy Artillery group. The groups system was used to combine batteries of siege guns, of different calibres, into operational commands.
