Hi,

My name is Jenny, I am 35 years old, and I live in Birmingham.

I am currently researching my family tree, and am researching facts about my Great Grandad, Henry Ernest Davies. He served in the Honourable Artillery Company, and was wounded in 1916-17, and spent seven months in an Edinburgh hospital. Fourtunately he survived, with the loss of one leg bellow the knee and the loss of part of his foot on the other.

Using this site I hope I can piece together his time in the army.

Hello

welcome to the forum

this is the link that might help - Henry E Davies - HAC - middle names are often not noted

if you get the MIC - should be a reference to a SWB - a "wound" badge awarded if discharged and he must have been with these injuries
